Most of you know that I'm a big fan of zombies and you're never too young to learn the formula of a good zombie story... An unlikely hero, a series of near escapes, romance in a time of desperation and of course a good helping of brains. You'll get your fill of brAINSS! with this book which is based on the old nursery rhyme 'Ten Little Indians' with a delightful zombie twist. Each zombie is killed with ingenuity and flair, with the splattered illustrations adding to the drama. I'm a big fan, Elliot seemed to like it, the high contrast images with red splatters are perfect for new little eyes to focus on, and until he understands words like 'hand-grenade' I don't think it's too scary.http://theschneishes.blogspot.com/2010/11/recommended-halloween-reading.html

ThinkGeek Gives Ten Little Zombies: A Love Story a Great Review!
Ten little zombies
Walking in a line
One stepped in a campfire
Now there are nine.
And so it begins. Ten Little Zombies is at its heart, a love story about two people trying to survive in this mixed up, wired up world of ours. Just kidding. It is a love story, but it's just about some folks running from zombies. One by one, the zombies get destroyed, and one by one the pages turn faster and faster as you speed towards the end. Ten Little Zombies is an emotional rollercoaster of a tale - one you'll want to ride again and again. Why? Because you'll remember laughing so hard.
The publisher compares Ten Little Zombies to Bunny Suicides, Edward Gorey, and Hallmark all having one mutant, little, love baby. That's pretty accurate. It's great to read silently to yourself, but even more hilarious to read aloud to children, undead children, guests, undead guests, etc., undead etc. Ten Little Zombies proves that love might not conquer all, but it still is our most powerful weapon against the oncoming zombie apocalypse. Because them zombies don't like hearts - they just like braaaaaains.

Another Great Review! Thanks, Outblush!
Outblush gives Ten Little Zombies: A Love Story a great write up today!
Ten Little Zombies
So long as your wee ones aren't easily spooked (We'd hate to be to blame for them waking up with nightmares), Ten Little Zombies ($9) makes for a ghoulishly good family Halloween read. The tale of 10 zombies, who die gruesome & hilarious 'deaths' one by one, chasing after two poor living souls, it'll have everyone sniggering. We'd also recommend having a pitcher of Zombieson hand for the grown-ups to imbibe after the kiddies go to bed, dreams of Halloween candy loot dancing in their headshttp://www.outblush.com/women/life/books-magazines/ten-little-zombies/

Techviva Reviews Ten Little Zombies: A Love Story!
The Ten Little Zombies is a fun story about zombies that you can read aloud to your little ones and watch the surprised faces as you go along with adventure. You will love the story as much as your little ones and will want to read it time and time again just to make yourself laugh. What better story to read with Halloween approaching then one about zombies. Actually it is kind of a love story but with zombies. You will have to read the book to understand.

Denver Examiner Review of Ten Little Zombies: A Love Story
When someone mentions romantic nursery rhyme, rarely does one think of a blood thirsty undead horde.
Cartoonist Andy Rash may soon change all that.
With his new short book, “Ten Little Zombies”, Rash delivers a tale so full of humor and sentiment that it oozes charm like a pus-filled zombie’s face.
In fact, it is so clever and sweet it might even soft the heart of a certain zombie examiner I know. But probably not.
Author and artist Andy Rash is also the brains behind the books “The Robots are Coming, and Other Problems” and “Superhero School”. You can follow his animation antics on his blog at andyrash.blogspot.com.
This book is suitable for adults and children. It would also make a great Halloween or even Valentine’s Day gift.
“Ten Little Zombies” is available locally from the Boulder Book Store, located across from Old Chicago on the Pearl Street Mall at 1107 Pearl Street in Boulder.

Maybe one of the best Zombie books I've come across (and I've read a few). It's got everything: Action, suspense, decapitation, and a warm and fuzzy ending. A must-read for any Zombie fan.
