You'll get your fill of brAINSS! with this book which is based on the old nursery rhyme 'Ten Little Indians' with a delightful zombie twist. Each zombie is killed with ingenuity and flair, with the splattered illustrations adding to the drama. The publisher compares Ten Little Zombies to Bunny Suicides, Edward Gorey, and Hallmark all having one mutant, little, love baby. That's pretty accurate. It's great to read silently to yourself, but even more hilarious to read aloud to children, undead children, guests, undead guests, etc., undead etc. Ten Little Zombies proves that love might not conquer all, but it still is our most powerful weapon against the oncoming zombie apocalypse. So long as your wee ones aren't easily spooked (We'd hate to be to blame for them waking up with nightmares), Ten Little Zombies ($9) makes for a ghoulishly good family Halloween read. Maybe one of the best Zombie books I've come across (and I've read a few). It's got everything: Action, suspense, decapitation, and a warm and fuzzy ending. A must-read for any Zombie fan.
